Phe Cullen

Art ambassador Canadian singer/songwriter Phe Cullen has generously donated the remaining stock of her two albums ‘ The Standards’ and ‘ Phe Cullen’ to raise funds for No More Dodos. Here is what they have to say about the albums.

” In a return to her jazz roots, the Toronto native presents an eclectic mosaic of her favourite
standards and classic-rock songs infused with a modern jazz flavour. Cullen’s voice and creative
flair lend a unique spin to the old favourites, creating a style that is purely her own.
Cullen exemplifies the compelling, seductive drawl of a lounge singer, and her voice
resonates with a mature, solid confidence. Her music is enhanced by the brilliant prowess of her
musicians. Her band demonstrates the mastery of their music by their effortless shifts between
energetic, lively beats, and equally dynamic, yet softer melodious sound.”

Geoff says “I spent many years selling records and even had a jazz shop at 20 Baker St and I can assure you that this is quality. If you enjoy the lounge jazz genre you will value these performances.”
