Anna was born in Hampstead, but has lived in Dorset for many years. She works mainly from her imagination, drawing on the beauty and mystery of the sea, ships and boats of all kinds. She greatly admires the work of early 20th Century painters especially Christopher Wood and Alfred Wallis. She has had successful exhibitions in a number of prestigious London galleries and her work has been hung in 3 Summer Shows at the Royal Academy.
